A little bit about me…

My journey began in rural Pennsylvania in 1996. I had the typical rural PA experience growing up: exploring the woods, craving the city, and generally not appreciating the beauty surrounding me in my hometown. I first got into photography as a hobby some time during my middle school years. It started out as a fun way to share memories with my friends, brought to light by the explosive popularity of camera phones and social media at the time. My step mom was a huge inspiration for me as she was a photographer in her own area of expertise: Morgan Horses. I remember thinking how awesome it was that she got paid to travel and photograph events she loved attending. I kept up with the hobby of iPhone photography all through high school and into my two years at Temple University, but it wasn’t until moving to Florida in 2017 that I got really serious about turning my passion into a career. I purchased my first DSLR in early 2018, a Canon T6i, and was immediately hooked. My first two years behind the camera were heavily focused on automotive work for friends in the car scene, I was blessed with the opportunity to turn this hobby into a career when I joined Wilde Automotive. I spent 4 years as their Social Media Director before their buyout in 2022. Since then I have allowed my brand to become my full time career. I am blessed to work with some incredible clients across the US and can’t wait to see where this journey takes me! - JT
